Introducing the Visibuild reporting API
Visibuild’s real-time quality management platform lets your team capture every inspection, complete every checklist, and keep everything on track from day one.
With the reporting API, you can now access your project data outside the Visibuild platform, making it easy to integrate insights into your existing dashboards, reports, or internal tools.
What you can do with it
We know many of our customers need to bring data into their own systems: whether for weekly project updates, executive dashboards, or internal reporting. With the reporting API, you can automatically pull the latest information from Visibuild and feed it into tools like Excel, PowerBI, or your internal project trackers - without manually exporting and copy-pasting from the dashboard.
With API access, you can:
⚡ Get near real-time access to your data without waiting for reports
📊 Present Visibuild data alongside other project or business metrics in your own tools
🧠 Query the data to create custom KPIs, charts, and insights that matter most to your team
✨ What’s new
Based on your feedback, we’ve recently introduced updates to help your team go from high-level insights to deep dives and action — faster.
🔍 Advanced filtering
You can now filter and group data with much greater flexibility: by type, status, stage, location, creator, assignee, and more. Whether you’re looking at company-wide metrics or drilling down into a specific project or discipline, it’s easier than ever to slice the data exactly how you need it. Use it to build dashboards that actually match the way your teams work.
🔗 Metadata links (aka deep links)
Where relevant, all API responses now include direct links back to the Visibuild dashboard, pre-filtered to match your query. This means you can explore a summary in your report, then jump straight into the platform to investigate further or take action: no need to manually search or recreate filters.
🚀 Getting started
Ready to bring Visibuild data into your own tools and get it in front of the people who need to know?
Start by speaking with your developers or BI team about the data you want to report on.
