Why should you use Issue Templates

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where the provided information for closing out an inspection wasn't sufficient? Rather than requesting more details, you can proactively establish what's needed to resolve these issues beforehand!

Creating an Issue template

Similar to creating Inspection templates you can create Issue templates!

You can now create templates for Issues and add as many required fields as you need.

Example of an Issue Template

Add all of the requirements that are needed to close out the Issue type.

This can be photos, a short answer description with the method used and even an engineers report.

Issue Creation

To create an issue, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to the location where you want the issue addressed.

  2. Click on the Blue "+" button.

  3. Select "Issue" from the options.

  4. Select the desired Issue Template

  5. Fill out the required fields and click "Create Issue"

  6. You're all set to go!

Tip:

Make sure to keep this generic if you are going to use this template for the entire project or make them specific if you are going to be creating multiple templates for each use case!
