When you open a drawing in Visibuild, we automatically look at the section markers and other document references on it, and try to match them to documents already uploaded to your project.
How it works
If we find a match, the section marker is highlighted with a light blue overlay. Click the highlighted marker and you'll be taken straight to the document it references — no searching through your document list.
Things to know
The drawing number on the section marker needs to match the document's drawing number exactly. If the marker uses a shortened or slightly different version of the number, we won't be able to make the link.
This only works for drawing and shop drawing document types.
Turning the highlights off
If you'd rather view the drawing without the blue overlays, use the linking annotations button in the toolbar to toggle them off.
