The Single Template Tracker gives you a complete view of every Visi created from a single template across your entire project — organised by location and by each check in the template. Monitor progress, complete requirements, and navigate between Visis without ever leaving the tracker.
⚠️ The tracker only works for Visis created from a template. This applies to all Visi types — inspections, defects, NCRs, and others. If Visis were created ad hoc (without using a template), they will not appear in the tracker and cannot be added retroactively.
For defects in particular, the decision to use a defect template needs to be made at the start of a project. If your team has been logging defects without a template, those existing defects cannot be tracked here — only new defects created from a template going forward will appear.
The Template Tracker landing page
Open the Template Tracker from the left-hand navigation bar to reach the landing page. The lower section — Single template trackers — lists every template on the project with three columns:
Created — total number of Visis created from that template
Closed — how many of those Visis have been closed out
Overall Visi completion — a progress bar showing completion percentage at a glance
From the landing page you can also:
Filter the list by Company using the dropdown at the top
Export to Excel — download the full template list with Created, Closed, and completion data
Click the star icon next to any template to add it to your favourites for quick access from the left nav
Click View tracker next to any template to open that template's single tracker view.
Inside the single template tracker
Once inside a template's tracker, the top bar shows you a live summary: total Visis closed out of total created, the overall completion percentage, and buttons for Export Excel, Favourite, Register, and Tracker.
The Switch template dropdown at the top-left lets you jump to any other template on the project without going back to the landing page.
Below the header you'll see the current Revision number and how many Visis were created from that revision. If a template has had multiple revisions, each revision appears as its own section — scroll down to see all revisions on one page with no switching required.
Two views: Tracker and Register
The single template tracker has two ways to view your data, switchable using the Tracker and Register buttons in the top-right corner.
Tracker view — the default grid view. Rows are locations, columns are each check (criterion) in the template. Each cell shows a closed/created count for that check at that location. This gives you a quick spatial overview of where work is complete and where it's outstanding across the project.
Register view — a list view where each row is an individual Visi. Columns show the template's criteria with what has actually been submitted for each — attachments, confirmed checkboxes, or a dash if nothing has been provided yet. The Report Title and location are shown on the left alongside an Overall Progress percentage. This view is useful for reviewing the detail of each individual Visi and what evidence has been captured.
The sidebar — view and complete Visis
Click any cell in the Tracker view to open the sidebar for that Visi. The sidebar shows:
Visi details — Visi type, Task attribute (e.g. Hold point), Status, Location, and which Template revision it was created from. Click See more to expand additional details.
Attachments — view all photos and files attached to the Visi, with tabs for Photos and Files. Use the + button to add new attachments directly from the sidebar.
Requirements — shows each required field and whether it has been completed. Click Complete requirements to fill in outstanding fields without leaving the tracker — this works for all required fields including attachments and checkboxes.
QR code — a QR code for the Visi is shown at the bottom of the sidebar, with a Print PDF option.
Chats — view and add chat messages on the Visi directly from the sidebar.
Use the arrow navigation at the top of the sidebar (e.g. 7 of 9) to move between Visis at that location without closing the panel.
Full screen mode
Click the Fullscreen button in the top-right corner to expand the tracker to fill your entire screen — ideal for displaying live project progress on a monitor in your site office.
Favourites
Star any template from the landing page or from inside the tracker using the Favourite button in the top-right. Favourited templates appear in the left navigation bar for quick access so you don't have to scroll through the full template list each time.
