By the end of this article you'll be able to use Visibuild's project-level dashboard and location page tabs to get a real-time picture of QA progress across your project — without leaving the office.
The Project Dashboard
The Visibuild project dashboard presents QA data through interactive charts that update in real time. You can get an overall picture of locations and companies currently working on your project, or drill through into the detail.
Jump to the source with Show Visis
Without repeating the same steps in the location pages, jump straight to the source by selecting Show Visis. Whatever filters you have active on the dashboard will carry across when you click through, so you land exactly where you need to be.
This opens a new tab at the relevant project location, where you can look into the data captured by the project team or subcontractor.
Tracking Status by Location
To see Visis across your entire project, navigate to the top of the location tree by clicking your project name. You'll see a summary of all Visis across the project, always sorted by Last Updated to surface the most recent activity.
By default, Visibuild presents information from both parent and child locations. Clicking on Level 3, for example, will show everything in Level 3 plus all its child zones — so you get the full picture without drilling into each one individually.
Narrow your focus with filters
Within any location page, several filters help you find exactly what you're looking for. You can apply multiple filters at once and they persist as you navigate through the location tree.
Location Page Tabs
The location page tabs give you a visual representation of project progress through progress bars and completion percentages. Each tab reorganises the Visi view by a different dimension:
By Milestones
View the progress of milestones set against your QA. Hover over the progress bar to see the status of linked Visis, or click to expand. See the Milestones article for more detail.
By Attachments
View all attachments uploaded across your QA, scoped to whichever location you have selected. See the Attachments library article for more detail.
By Companies
Switch to the Companies tab to see the overall QA progress of each company. Use the location tree to drill down and it will show the completion percentage for companies with Visis in both parent and child locations.
By Locations
Switch to the Locations tab and use the tree to drill down. It provides a completion percentage snapshot for all Visis in both parent and child locations.
By Stage and Discipline
Using the data sets selected for your templates, this tab gives a snapshot of QA status across all stages and disciplines on your project.
